Jessica and Bébé have been in the same class since their first year and their really don't have any spare feelings for each other. Because of her blood status and her desire to climb up the social ladder and retain a certain reputation Bébé likes to ignore Jessica more than banter her, but she does not mind being rude about Jessica behind her back. Jessica on her part thinks Bébé is a superficial blonde bimbo, and although she doesn't initiate rude comments, so does not try to contain her disdain whenever they are paired up in class.

I like your proposal for a blooming friendship, however there are a few things I need to take into consideration. Sooo, Jessica has not been a particularly social girl during her past time at Hogwarts. For the first four years she made it her mission in life to be ignored and to ignore, and she was rather successful with that. It wasn’t until her fifth year that she began to reconsider her views and not until her sixth year that she full out took a turn for the better. So, I suppose the two could’ve met formally in Jessica’s fifth year and that a sort of friendship started from there. Moving on to Jessica’s sixth year the two can be considered friends, even good friends, I suppose. However, Jessica would never, EVER, under any circumstances tells anyone about her werewolf condition, and unless your character is Hermione Granger or Lilly Evans, I hardly doubt anyone would know. Even though the two are friends I don’t see them attached at the hip and Darby wouldn’t know where Jessica was or what she did at every hour of the day (over exaggerated, I know, but just to prove my point). Aside from that, I can see Jessica being fiercely overprotective against anyone who might call Darby a mudblood. Being tormented herself (although that has lessened with age) Jessica can relate to that, and having a rather short temper with unjust people she would have no trouble hexing, or punching, someone in the face.

On a side note, I think Darby would consider them better friends than Jessica does, not that Jessica wouldn’t value their relationship. I just think that Darby would classify the two as good friends and although Jessica might publicly agree she would categorize Darby as friends in her own mind. Although Jessica has decided that she indeed wants human contact and doesn’t want to alienate herself from people, she is still wary and wouldn’t automatically reveal all her secrets. But Jessica is actually a very friendly people-person, and so it would most likely appear as a solid and good based friendship.

Yeah. That was a long answer to a short “will you be my friend” request. Haha. But yeah, do you agree or, disagree? Does it seem unlikely for your character etc? I'm not saying they wouldn't become "good friends", eventually, but as Jessica is right now, it would take time for Jessica to feel the same way about their friendship.
