Hey guys,
Proboards has open BetaTesting for their new version of Proboards. I put in a request for WD, so we now have a Testing Forum. Anything done there won't be reflected here.
It's so we can try out the new version, get a feel for it, and for us Admins we can start working on getting our forums to look how we want them to look before the new Version is released.

Just going to bump this to everyone's attention. Proboards has stated that the release date for the new version of Proboards will be around April. So, please start playing on our testing board if you want to not be surprised and stumped how to proceed come April.
If you have any questions about how something works, I'll try my best to help but even I'm not quite sure of all the features yet. I'm not even sure I'll have a complete Layout/Skin by that time given I haven't felt like working/playing with it due to work and staying active here as well >.>"

Here you have me! I don't see much of a difference between them, but I guess it could be in the coding, or something like that. In case you need help with the skin, I'd be glad to help you, or with graphics, as I'd love to give you a hand.

Oh, they are not exactly alike. Look at the banner/welcome tables ... I haven't yet figured how to get the nav links into the banner like here and adding in the "quick links" and RP date portion. I'd also like to keep the "welcome username" at the top of the page like it is here ... but I don't know.
Don't get me wrong, I probably have enough of it skinned that it'd be useable if it needed to be implemented at that moment, but to me it's not ready as there is more I'd probably liked to do/need to figure out.
However, I want all of you guys getting over there and experimenting with it. Learning how to Log In, how to link your multiple accounts, the posting page and those differences so you'll know how to use the new version when it does get implemented.
Nothing you do over there will affect anything over here, so please play on it and get an idea of things. Tell me if you like the RP boards condensed like that--as that was something I wanted to do when I learned we could do basically unlimited sub-boards.
If you have ideas for things, let me know ... this is the time for input and playing around with things. So I really want your guys' input and impressions on things BEFORE we're forced to use it all

I'm still playing around with the coding and template on our Betazone board.
Again, I encourage you all to go over there and play around on it yourself to get a feel for the new version of Proboards.
