POLITICAL FACTIONS

As the Role-Play progresses different groups and alliances will be created. You will be able to find each of the factions and a brief description of their views in this thread.

{ THE CORE }

CONVENTIONALISTS want to keep things just as they are. No changes at all to the system. It's worked this long, why start messing with it?

SECULARISTS fear that the ministry isn't doing enough to safeguard the magical world from the invasion of muggles that (they believe) will use magic as a weapon for war - something that has been avoided for so long, since the fall of Voldemort. They want to introduce an 'Immersion License', which would allow only certain individuals to enter the muggle world when it is absolutely necessary. More extreme secularists want to cut all ties completely with the muggle world and even obliviate the muggle prime minister about the magical community.

NEO-TRADITIONALISTS, though small in number, want to return to the old days where witchhunting was popular but to switch it round so that the magical world can wipe muggles from the planet so that the magical community can expand and no longer need to hide.

THE UNIFICATION MOVEMENT want to expose magic and abolish the statute of secrecy. Why not trust muggles to treat magic with respect and understanding and not as a weapon. Isn't mistrust of muggles a Voldemortian view?
